Founded in 2003 and with over 100 years of cumulative radio communications engineering experience, Threat4 is a leading North American innovator, designer and manufacturer of radio communication audio accessories.  Threat4 specializes in solutions for public safety, military and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM).  These solutions include push-to-talks (PTTs), high noise headsets, tactical headsets, speaker microphones, throat microphones, ear bone microphones, surveillance kits and digital (DSP) headsets with active listening.

Threat4’s head office houses engineering and assembly of all OEM, public safety and military products (Threat4 line).  With its vertically integrated manufacturing model, Threat4 is able to produce molded (plastic & aluminum) products, cable assemblies/overmolds, Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design and assembly, RF design, and products with both digital and analogue signalling.

Currently Threat4 manufacturers under ISO9001 standards over 600 SKUs (2010) and has served over 5000 customers (as of 2010) worldwide. Some customers include:  Kenwood USA, US Marines, US Army, US Air Force, Canadian Military, US Marshals Service, US Transportation Security Administration, FBI, Canadian RCMP, and US Secret Service. Threat4 has also secured multi-million dollar contracts with the US Military, two example include SPAWAR (US Marines) and US AIR FORCE.

Threat4’s head office operates out of its wholly owed commercial building and its distribution is facilitated through 3PL located in both the US and Canada.

More recently Threat4 has turned the focus of its efforts to provide Tactical Communications and Protective Systems (TCAPS) to address Noise-Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) and to provide modular and integrated radio headset systems for the mounted and dismounted soldier.
